When you get here

We’ve thought about the little things.

Parking is free and right outside the entrance. We’ll show you around so you know where everything is and give you a chance to get a feel for the place, from the plants and art to the people you’ll see during your visits.

We’ll sit down to discuss what you’re hoping for, your health and anything you’re unsure about. Together, we’ll talk through the therapies and your options, with time to explain things properly.

Before your session begins, we’ll show you how everything works, how to contact us and what to expect. Tell us what would help you feel comfortable. We’re used to first visits, nerves and plenty of questions.

We’ll ask how it felt and talk through any questions that came up. If you’d like to continue, we can suggest a plan and explain the commitment and cost. You can decide here or take it home to think about.

Getting comfortable

Here’s what to expect.

A member resting inside the hyperbaric chamber

We’ll guide you through the pressure changes.

We’ll show you the chamber, help you settle into position and explain how to equalise your ears as the pressure changes. Your practitioner stays beside you during this part and checks that you’re comfortable before stepping away.

Once you’re settled, you can read, rest or close your eyes. We continue monitoring your session, and you can speak to us throughout. If you want to finish early, tell us and we’ll guide you through bringing the pressure down.

Anything on your mind?

A few things you might be wondering.

Most people exploring hyperbaric oxygen begin with a first HBOT session, which includes a consultation and time to get comfortable with the chamber. If you’re coming specifically for Red Light, its first appointment includes a consultation too.

You can also arrange a consultation and tour before choosing a therapy. We’ll show you around, discuss what brings you here and help you understand your options.

Tell us. Joe, one of our founders, is claustrophobic himself, so this is something we’ve put considerable thought into.

You can look at the chamber before deciding to get in. We’ll explain each stage and stay beside you while you settle, with communication throughout your session. You can ask to finish early, and we’ll guide you through bringing the pressure down.

Usually, no. Everyone completes suitability questions and has a consultation before their first session. Depending on your health or medication, we may need more information or clearance from your clinician before proceeding.

If you’re unsure, contact us before booking and we’ll talk it through.

Your first appointment includes time for a consultation, a look around and an explanation of the therapy, as well as the session itself.

HBOT sessions are usually around an hour, while Red Light exposure lasts 10–15 minutes. Check the full appointment length shown when booking so you have enough time for the whole visit.

Comfortable clothing is a good starting point. Your confirmation will include the preparation instructions for your chosen therapy, and we’ll provide the equipment you need.

For Red Light, you can wear underwear, swimwear or go nude in your private room. Eye protection is provided and must be worn throughout.

Yes, where both are suitable for you. Let us know when booking so we can allow time to explain both therapies and arrange your sessions.

Let us know what would make your visit easier, whether that’s more time to process information, a thorough explanation before anything happens or help with access. You can tell us when booking or speak to the team beforehand, so we can prepare with you.

No. Your first visit gives you time to experience Breathe and understand your options. If you’d like a proposed Bespoke Plan to consider at home, we can email it to you so you can decide later.

Your first HBOT appointment costs £49. If you continue with a Bespoke Plan or membership, £30 is credited towards that purchase. We’ll help you apply it when you’re ready.

Parking is free and right outside. Tell us which location you’d like to visit and any access or support needs before booking, so we can explain the facilities and help arrange the right appointment.
