Breathing life into a 16th Century church...
Come and follow our journey as we carefully restore this iconic church.
We are carefully restoring a 16th-century church and reimagining it as the next home of Breathe — a modern wellbeing sanctuary offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, IV therapy and diagnostic testing.
Our aim is to preserve the history, character and soul of this remarkable building while giving it a new purpose rooted in recovery, prevention and human care.
This renovation brings together heritage and science, creating a calm and restorative space where people can breathe, heal, recharge and reconnect.

Repairs to the roof and structure.
For nearly ten years, this iconic church stood with a hole in its roof, exposed to the weather and slowly waiting for its next chapter. That roof has now been repaired, the building is watertight once again, and the careful restoration can finally begin.

Planning permission
As a Grade I listed building, every change has to be handled with care, respect and the proper permissions. Working closely with an architect, permission has now been granted to add essential facilities, including toilets, in a way that protects the character and historic importance of the church while allowing it to serve a new purpose.

We have the builders in...
We warmly welcome interest and questions from neighbours, passers-by and anyone curious about the restoration. We are always happy to talk about what is happening and share the journey as the church begins its next chapter.
At this stage, however, the building is still an active renovation site and needs to be made safe before people can walk around freely. For your own safety, please respect that access will be restricted while builders, contractors and restoration work are taking place.

The future of the church...
When we open, the church will become an appointment-only therapy and wellbeing space. Many of the people we support live with chronic illness or come to us for rest, recovery and nervous system support, so privacy, peace and quiet will be an important part of how the space is used.
This means the church will not be open for people to freely wander around. However, this does not mean it is closed off from the community.
If you would like to experience the space through breathwork classes, sound baths, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, IV therapy or diagnostic testing, please leave your email address and we will notify you when we are ready to open.

Why consistency matters
Red light therapy benefits are cumulative. Most people notice improvements in energy and recovery after just a few sessions, with significant changes developing over 2-4 weeks of consistent treatment.

Our commitment to transparency
We want to be completely transparent: we are not doctors or medical professionals. we are simply people who have experienced firsthand the powerful potential of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, alongside thousands of happy members who have shared similar transformative experiences.
Our trained staff provide guidance on red light therapy protocols and procedures, however we do not give medical advice and are not medically trained. For full terms and conditions, please read our disclaimer.
